In Via Primoz Trubar, high above the awakening old town of Piran, with a view of the gently shimmering sea, stands house number 19. Primoz Trubar, a preacher who became famous for his Slovenian writings, gives the street its name. But it wasn't his fame that fascinated me, but this old door. Squeezed between mortar and bricks, you look into a black hole. It invites you to open the door and enter to discover the secret behind it.

Years later, I found myself in front of this door again, but now everything was locked. The windows were broken, no more light penetrated. There was no longer anyone living in Via Primoz Trubar number 19.
