While tourists enjoy themselves at the souvenir stalls in the old town of Chania, this backyard offers a true insight into life on Crete. Rough facades, colorful and authentic, and a balcony on which towels are drying. We would have loved to sit here with a coffee and leisurely solve crossword puzzles.
