The port of Chania in the northwest of Crete is deserted in the morning. The sun was already high in the sky, although it wasn't even 8 o'clock yet. The café at the harbor was already serving coffee, but there was no one there except us. The stillness of the harbor was calming, life had slowed down considerably. Somehow you could get used to it.
